Roth believes a training program is only valid if it is safe and sustainable. Making every workout as efficient as possible allows for a manageable time commitment. Some of his most successful clients train with him only 30 minutes twice a week. Safe and sustainable training programs are a result of taking a scientific approach to recording progress and using a conservative exercise selection during the initial training sessions. Attention to coaching proper form helps provide the client the safest and most sustainable program possible.
Roth knows that every client will need a custom approach. Resistance bands, machines, body weight training and free weights are used based on the goals of the client. Roth takes pride in his ability to train a diverse group of clients. From athletes to those new to fitness, Roth is passionate about helping his clients safely reach and maintain their fitness goals.
Roth’s passion for fitness and health began during his sophomore year’s weightlifting class. Roth decided to pursue his passion for fitness by graduating with a degree in Integrative Health Science from Stetson University in May of 2013. During his last semester, he worked with the Stetson University Strength and Conditioning Department. He became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association in September of 2013. He has worked at Deland Fitness Studio since its opening of April 2018.
